SISTER BETHER SEZ...
i finally have about three minutes to write :)
Hi everyone.
i'd love to sit and write a dramatic post about my many adventures with ben. alas, breastfeeding is a lot of work it turns out....
so i'll make it quick before ben wakes up.
mark and ben and i are having so much fun, loving each other.
i told mark, "I'm having a problem where i can't get anything done, because i want to stare at my beautiful baby all the day long...."
mark told me, "I know what you mean. I'm having the exact same problem."
when we took ben to his first check up at the pediatrician's office, i told the doctor, "my son ben, suffers from a very rare form of..... cuteness."
the doctor said, "let me guess? he's the cutest one?"
i guess he's familiar with the disease :)
it's a struggle....
well everyone. i know i have to write many a thank you notes for so many gifts, and so much love and support. although dear abby says 30 days is within the limits of good taste for thank you notes, i fear it may be somewhat longer than that before i can get to it...
so i will just say an inadequate thank you on line to all those who have shared with me, for now.
thank you everyone.
it's amazing how quikly one's life disappears when there is an adorable, hungry newborn on the scene. it's not just that ben is busy, but i know he'll only be this small for such a very short time. i want to enjoy ever minute with him. so everything else must wait right now.
lots of love to everyone.
please go to mark's website: www.markgerber.com to view the photos we just posted as of last night. if you double click on the thumbnail photo, the picture will enlarge and the caption will appear at the top of the photo.
also a big thank you to jason who just left. when he was here he helped mark and i with so many things, including grocery shopping, dishes, laundry and rubbing my feet. he took lots of good pictures of ben and posted them first thing on ben's own blog site too. and he brought see's too. thanks jason.
also my dad gave ben wonderful gift of college $$$. thanks dad.
and mark bought me a beautiful new watch as a gift for carrying ben around the last ten months.... he gave it to me the day ben was born. i love it. thank you mark.
the best gift ever from mark though, is the way he loves ben and me. he's the best dad ever and i just about start crying when i see them together. i feel very blessed to have these two wonderful men in my life.
and i feel blessed to have so many wonderful friends and family.
lots more mush later,
-Bether
ps. don't be offended if i don't respond to emails quickly. but keep sending them.
